Junget Church

Selde Church
From the outside, Selde Church appears as a traditional 15th-century village church, but inside, you'll discover a wealth of impressive decorative features.
The church boasts beautiful stained glass windows that bathe the space in colored light. Intricate wood carvings and paintings also adorn the walls, adding to the sacred and artistic atmosphere.

Åsted Church
East of Åsted Church lies an area with deep roots in Denmark’s legal history. This is where the Åsted Birketing was held from 1552 to 1688. About 1 km north of the church, you’ll find the gallows hill – the former execution site of the court – located near the old fortifications of Sallingholm and the village with its historic origins.

Durup Church
Come to Durup Church on the last Monday of each month between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., enjoy a cup of coffee in the porch, and take a moment to read the gravestone, which ends with a beautiful message to future generations: “Live, reader, as he lived here, and you will be dear to both God and mankind.”

Roslev Church
Roslev Church is a roadside church, open to visitors from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays. Step inside and discover how even a church building can evolve with time. The original structure dates back to the 1100s, but in the late 19th century—when Roslev began to grow with the arrival of the railway—the church was expanded with a side arm, known as a transept.
A Piece of Local History While you're here, take a moment to visit the family gravesite of Member of Parliament Jens Peter Dalsgaard from the Skive district, located just outside on the church grounds.

Lyby Church
In the Middle Ages, Lyby Church was considered the “Syssel Church” for the Salling district, with a local assembly held at nearby Bostrup Tinghøj. In 1375, a gathering took place in the church, where the region’s leading men discussed the hardships of the time: war, fire, crop failure, disease, and dwindling fish stocks.
There, with hands raised to heaven, they swore to defend the church’s freedoms and rights – a vow that still echoes in the stones.

Resen Church - Skive
Resen Church near Skive is a roadside church and is open on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Stop by and see The Crucifixion by Svend Havsteen-Mikkelsen, as well as a memorial plaque from 1756 dedicated to the noble Rosenkrantz family of Krabbesholm.
