Morsø Fiskepark – Family-friendly fishing in scenic surroundings Enjoy 6,000 m² of fishing waters with rainbow trout and eel. The park offers benches, shelters, barbecue, cleaning station, toilet, and playground – open daily from 6 AM to 10 PM.
Glyngøre offers deep water and strong currents that attract herring in spring – and sea trout often follow. In late summer, mullet may also appear. Parking at Glyngøre Marina.
Pier fishing at Oddesund You can catch garfish, sea trout, eel, flatfish, rock gunnel, and herring here. Pier fishing for garfish and herring is especially rewarding, and there are good chances for other species too. Many sea trout are caught using float rigs. Parking is available on both sides of the bridge. For traffic safety reasons, fishing directly from the bridge is not recommended. Remember your fishing license!
Wade fishing in Limfjorden During the season, you can catch sea trout and garfish right from the shore. Mussels can be found in shallow water – remember, they must be located far enough out to remain covered by water, even at low tide. In June, schools of garfish enter the fjord and can be caught from the Oddesund Bridge. Remember your fishing license!
Located about 6 km northwest of Struer and 15 km east of Lemvig, Marslund Mose and Engbo Mose offer peaceful fishing spots with brown trout, rainbow trout, tench, and eel. A special fishing permit is required and can be purchased at Lemvig Sport og Natur.
At Humlum Fishing Village & Camping, you'll find an undisturbed fishing spot with good opportunities for sea trout and garfish. The high seasons for sea trout are February-March and September-October, and for garfish, it's May-July. There is public parking and facilities for the convenience of anglers.
