Visit one of the museums in Destination Limfjorden. Besides their different special exhibitions, you are guaranteed to find some local history about this Limfjord’s area. Some of the museums inform about the history 50 years ago, while others inform about the history 55 million years ago.

The famous author Jeppe Aakjær lived here together with his wife Nanna Aakjær from 1907 until his death in 1930. See the exhibitions and the artist's residence where Aakjær wrote several of his famous works.

Baulehus – Cultural heritage and rural charm in Salling
Baulehus is a historic four-winged farm dating back to 1840. Visitors can explore a private museum showcasing farming culture, enjoy a large and diverse garden, and relax in cozy seating areas – all set in the scenic Danish countryside.

Glyngøre Kulturstation is a small local museum located in the old station buildings. Here, the focus is on local history and how the fjord has influenced the people around Glyngøre over time.

Relive childhood memories at the Doll School, where you will find one of the largest toy exhibitions around the Limfjord.

Discover Hjerm Art Gallery, founded in 1974 by Hans Jørgen Møller in the charming town of Hjerm, south of Struer. Owned and operated by Karen and Flemming Trelborg since 2015. Explore contemporary modern art by Danish artists, including paintings, ceramics, and sculptures. Enjoy coffee or apple juice from Flemming's apple plantation. Welcome to an accessible and unpretentious art gallery.

The Rakla store is a cozy and atmospheric shop at the island Fur, in which the focus is on exclusivity, excellent customer service and high-level quality. RAKLA is the place where you find art, yarn, handicrafts, wine and unique knitting designs in the finest quality.

Mississippi is a culture and art center at Thyholm - a meeting place where art and culture must help create debate, move boundaries and create experiences.

Come visit the goldsmith workshop at Resenlund in Skive. In the historical surroundings, close to the forest and beach, unique jewelry is crafted. Old jewelry is remade with respect for its history, and new stories are created when you find your new dream piece of jewelry.

In this beautiful landscape, surrounded by cornfields, you will find a cosy gallery, cafe’, and a sculpture garden at Røntveds Art Craft.

Tempa Handcraft, run by Else Marie and Tage Pedersen, has been working professionally with the old crafts of woodturning and basket weaving since 1990.

Karolines Hus is a gallery at the island Fur that focuses on making art accessible to ordinary homes with changing exhibitions of lesser-known artists. The gallery has flexible opening hours and is always closed on Mondays, except on selected public holidays.

Rooted in the movements and sensations of nature, Annelis’ works unfold between untouched landscapes and human traces.

Mrs Jensen's shop at Fur offers "New and Old" for interior design as well as exciting liqueurs, rum and gin with tastings.

Daugbjerg Mini Village and Gl. Vandmølle is built on a scale of 1:10 and consists of 150 buildings.

Welcome to Glaspusteriet Gnist, a magical place where art and craftsmanship come together to create enchanting glass creations.

Vesterhavskunst is an exciting pottery workshop located in Skive, where creativity thrives. Here, a wide range of pottery courses are offered.

Flow and sensuality are the focal points of Natasscha Girelli’s works, which immediately captivate the eye with their lively floral forms. These forms grow and bloom in all imaginable colors across the surface of the canvases.

Visit the potter Henning Fjendbo on his farm near Spøttrup Castel, where you will find a workshop and a large gallery in his stable.

Gimsinghoved in Struer is a vibrant art and culture center featuring changing exhibitions, classical and jazz concerts, and a beautiful sculpture garden. A place where art, music, and history come together in atmospheric surroundings.

Visit the artist Britt Fage and her work workshop gallery, which is located in the raw surroundings of Struer Havn.

Skarregaard is a unique and diverse place where nature, culture, and history come together. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds contribute, and visitors gain a deeper understanding of nature’s balance and rural life.

Galleri 2132 showcases changing exhibitions of Danish and international art – from super-realism to abstract, photography, ceramics, and sculpture.

Øens bette shop at Kongevejen 33 on Jegindø is a treasure chest filled with history and flea gold.

Strejf af Verden Struer is a local shop filled with classic and vibrant decorative arts, clothing, bags, scarves, and jewelry.

Fur is "the Island of Art." The art association Furkunst brings together the many active artists on Fur. On Fur, you will find several large galleries and a total of around 20 studios and art workshops.

Visit Karin Henriksen in HENRIKSEN-VÆRKSTED-GALLERI (workshop and gallery) in the village Lihme. The workshop is placed in the village’s old carpenter shop.

Berit Andersen from Fur combines her passion for ceramics and craniosacral therapy, with unique works and treatments, which she shares on Instagram and Facebook under "furikon".

Tandrup Photography captures the moods of Danish nature from its base by the Limfjord in Skive. Photographer Michel Strøm Tandrup specializes in nature photography and offers photo art, exhibitions, and courses in Central Jutland.

Galerie Umbria – Art, Nature and Collaboration in Motion
A vibrant exhibition space in Vinderup where Danish and international art converge. Run by Rolf Jacobsen, the gallery features exhibitions, an art school, and a growing sculpture park.

Mullegrif creates distinctive stoneware inspired by the nature of Salling – the place where they were born and raised.
