Fur Museum

Fur Bryghus is both a microbrewery and a restaurant. It is beautifully located on the small island Fur in the Limfjord. The brewery hosts a number of events throughout the year.

Take the Limfjordscamino and let yourself be enchanted by nature and tranquility. On this journey, you can experience the scenic Fur, the delightful Glyngøre, and, not least, Mors.

Knudeklint on the island of Fur and Hanklit on Mors are candidates for inclusion on UNESCO’s list of unique natural sites.

Bispehuen – Geological landmark on Fur
Bispehuen is a striking column of folded diatomite at Fur’s Stendal Quarry. This unique formation reflects the original landscape height and is a popular viewpoint featuring the sculpture Molermanden.

The Red Rock – Fur’s Colorful Coastal Nature
On the northern coast of Fur, a large rust-red sandstone rock stands at the water’s edge. The Red Rock remains vividly red, as the salty sea water washes it clean and enhances the natural rusting of the iron-rich sandstone. A fascinating natural feature easily accessible from the beach.

Fur Church is not just a place for reflection and faith – it is a historical treasure inviting you to explore the stories of the past. The church is open from morning bell to evening bell.

Langstedhuller on Fur is a unique natural area featuring dramatic erosion gullies and stunning views over the Limfjord. In spring, the slopes bloom with wildflowers, and the site offers great facilities and hiking opportunities.

Karolines Hus is a gallery at the island Fur that focuses on making art accessible to ordinary homes with changing exhibitions of lesser-known artists. The gallery has flexible opening hours and is always closed on Mondays, except on selected public holidays.

Stendal Høje – Fur’s highest point
Stendal Høje, also known as Bette Jenses Hyw, is the highest point on Fur, offering stunning views of the island and surrounding areas.
